Sets & Spros: Coffee, House Music & a Good Cause at SWISH

My next set comes with a slightly earlier alarm and a much stronger coffee.

On Thursday, 5 November, I’m teaming up with SWISH Coffee for Sets & Spros, which is a morning coffee shop rave in the heart of Perth, supporting Movember.

From 8–10AM, I’ll be behind the decks bringing two hours of funky house, disco grooves and Latin flavours to 111 St Georges Terrace. Think feel-good tunes, coffee in hand and a little dance before you head into the office. There are definitely worse ways to start a Thursday.

This is a side of DJing I really love: digging into music with plenty of groove and building a set that gets people moving. I’ve been putting together some favourites for this one, and I can’t wait to give them a spin.

There’s a good cause behind the morning, too. SWISH are bringing people together to support Movember, encouraging everyone to start a conversation and check in with their mates.

The crew has created limited edition Sets & Spros Vol. 01 tees, designed in-house and screen-printed locally here in Perth. All profits go to SWISH’s Movember page, helping the team work towards its $10,000 fundraising goal.

SWISH has also teamed up with False Idol Perth for the Sets & Spros raffle. Buying a limited edition tee automatically enters you into the draw, with prizes including:

• 10 × $100 SWISH Coffee vouchers

• 3 × False Idol Perth wet shave vouchers, including a beard balm, valued at $95 each

• SWISH Coffee retail coffee beans

The raffle is run by SWISH, with all proceeds going towards their Movember fundraising goal.

Head to drinkswish.coffee or the link in @swishcoffeebrewers’ Instagram bio for tee orders and raffle details.

So round up your workmates, bring a friend or swing past for your morning coffee and stay for a boogie.
